Prodigy

On Thursday, September 15, 2011, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Faculty of Computer Science organized Prodigy at UPH D502 and D501. This one-day event is a programming and web design competition for high school students. This annual competition offers UPH scholarships for the winners.

There are 3 groups, each consisting of 3 members, that entered web design competition and 22 students who joined programming and logic competition. Six finalists were chosen out of these 22 participants and in the end, there are 3 winners.

?We are happy to see many high school students participating in this event. We are also glad to be able to introduce the world of Computer Science to them,? stated Indra Dhanurendra, Head of the Committee.

Two groups from SMAK Ketapang 2 took the first and second place in web design competition while Sekolah Dian Harapan took the third. In the programming and web design competition, Ahmad Zaky from SMAN 8 took the first place, Rakina Zata Amni from SMAN 8 took the second, while Arnold Ardianto from Canisius College took the third.
