On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) held the second Outstanding Faculty Award (OFA) 2011 at Room D501 to honor the outstanding faculty members whose efforts and achievements have promoted the quality of UPH. This year, OFA recognized five faculty members in five categories; Outstanding Faculty Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Research Excellence Award, Teaching Excellence Award, and Outstanding Young Faculty Award.

In each category, Lusiana Idawati, the head of committee, explained that OFA aims to motivate and appreciate the faculty members, recognize the faculty members for their contribution, and in the end achieve the university?s goals. After passing the first round, the candidates will be interviewed by OFA Panel of Judges,? explained Lusiana. Judging criteria include teaching, research, community service, contribution/achievement, and interview.
