Grand Launching CBC and Seminar ?The Role of CSR towards the Growth of Entrepreneurship and Workplace?

The MoU was signed by UPH Rector Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak M.Eng.Sc. and Director of APEC IBIZ Indonesia Juanna Judith H., SE., MA., Ph.D.

Through this program, the participants were trained and will be acknowledged as competent business counselor by foreign executives who wanted to open their companies in Indonesia but have not known anything about the country yet. ?The CBC program is opened to any experienced business counselors as well as those who do not have any certifications. They will have to submit business portfolio that will then be accredited to obtain APEC certificate,? stated Juanna Judith.

At the same time, seminar ?The Role of CSR towards the Growth of Entrepreneurship and Workplace? discussed about the importance of CSR in a company. Former minister menteri Prof. DR. Haryono Suyono, MPH, Ph.D. explained that CSR is the company?s justice responsibility to the society.

He said that students as the future entrepreneur needed to be prepared with the ability of caring with people in order to create a better, more prosperous and independent society. Through live in, the students will meet people and form a forum. ?Together with not less than 86 universities, I organize live in program to form empowerment forum for the family in the village. Form Empowerment center there,? he added. This forum will develop entrepreneurship, innovation, the spirit, and work hard and smart culture that is easy to do to reduce poverty and build a prosperous family.

Besides Prof. Haryono, the seminar invited many speakers from various companies such as Ir. I Wayan Dipta, M.Sc. (Deputy Minister of Research and Development for Cooperative and SME Resources), Djarot Handoko (Division Head Public Relations of PT. Indosat, Tbk.), Prof. Dr. Didik J. Rachbini (LP3E KADIN Pusat), Indrastomo Nugraha (VP Consumer and Retail Lending of BNI, Tbk.), Natal Argawan Pardede (Corporate Secretary of PT Wika, Tbk.).
