According to Anies, ?Corruption can be eradicated through correct moral implementation. The implementation can be started from family. It is because values from family will continue to the education system of the society itself. If society already has the correct mindset, then there will be no more corruption.? Anies also touch on the importance of welfare. According to him, one of the main factors that many people could commit corruption is because that they are lacking something, for example insufficient salary to support household.

On the other hand, Gita responded the corruption issue by highlighting the importance of a corruption watch institution that has integrity and courage. ?I am quite proud of KPK?s achievements in the recent years. KPK officers have shown that they are brave enough to eradicate and bring judgments to those who commit corruption in the government? ranks. Although, the quality of KPK itself still need a lot of improvement. The survey showed that the ratio of investigators to the total of Indonesia state workers is 1 to 45000. It is impossible to solve the corruption issues with minimum number of investigators.? |

Meanwhile, Dino Patti Djalal replied the question from other perspective, that the current system boosts the corruption behavior. ?We have to be able to closely scrutinize and watch the new method of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. We have to recognize the signs when laws are being treated as a tool for trading. We are now in the year of 2014; it is time to return to a clean governance system. It is without saying that if the upper tier has to be clean, the under tier have to follow suit,? said Dino. |
