OSTW is one of the Indonesia foreign ministry programs to introduce and promote the potential of Indonesia?s young generation to international community in research, innovation, and several other areas. Besides that, this is another way to prior soft power diplomacy; enhance people to people contract and expanding network through academic and research section. On the past few years, OSTW Program had visited United States (2011), Japan (2012), and England (2013). (rh/pris)

“I am honored to be chosen as one of the participants with other outstanding students that had achieved national and international awards. In Canada, we were asked to present our own achievements. I had the opportunity to present the application of International Law at Canada foreign ministry and McGill University. I am proud toward their positive respond which was proved on their interest to visit Indonesia, which means that we had succeeded the program. Although I didn?t do much, at least I was able to promote Indonesia abroad.
After attending this program, I?m more motivated to achieve greater things. I want to contribute more in the moot court team Faculty of Law UPH, and give the best achievement. I am proud of my faculty and also grateful for having this opportunity especially for a freshman like me.” |
