Indonesian International Education & Training Expo 2015/INADIDAC Expo 2015 was held again on February 5-8, 2015 at Jakarta Convention Center, Hall B. This largest exhibition in the education sector in Indonesia is held every year, supported by Directorate General of Higher Education– Ministry of Education and Culture, Jakarta Provincial Education Department, and related associations. Through this exhibition, visitors gain the opportunity to dig up information on leading educational institutions in Indonesia and overseas.
Universitas Pelita Harapan rejoined as one of the 110 participants in this exhibition and has routinely become a participant since 4 years ago. In this exhibition, UPH offered scholarship programs. “Actually, our scholarship program is already closed, but specifically for this event, we reopen the scholarship program for 17 majors,” said Friendly, UPH Student Consultant. In addition, other useful programs were also offered to increase people?s knowledge on the departments available in UPH, such as Summer Holiday and Dean’s Talk.
UPH?s presence was quite attractive to the visitors who are generally high school students from various high schools in Greater Jakarta and surrounding cities. In 4 days, UPH?sbooth was visited by more than 10,000 students. Enthusiasts who are interested in applying at UPH were also plenty. UPH Liaison Officer Team swiftly came to visitors and provided an introduction of UPH. “Visitors who want to know more about UPH will be delivered to UPH?s booth and will be served by the Student Consultant to be given UPH product knowledge. If visitors are interested in applying, they can immediately take the registration form for free at the Admission section,”explained Christina Eris, UPH Student Consultant.
UPH?s booth became increasingly crowded with the presence of Albert Einstein icon clown. Visitors who took a photograph together with Albert Einstein and uploaded it to their social media will receive interesting merchandises. “Every day, UPH?s booth was visited by thousands of visitors. As an example, on the third day, UPH?s booth was visited by more than 3000 people, both by high school students from various cities and also the parents,” said Friendly.
