Faculty of Science and Technology Promotes Togetherness by Internal Competition event.

FaST Olympiad #2 Opening, Aerobic, on Plaza Building D UPH

Talking about higher institutions, it is solely not talking about academic aspects. Other aspect such as health is also considered important. The social relationships among students and between lecturers and students, even among lecturers are, in fact, essential. Based on this insights, Faculty of Science and Technology (FaST) UPH held the FaST Olympiad #2.

FaST Olympiad #2, held on 18-22 May 2015, was a competition among departments in the Faculty of Science and Technology. This faculty is indeed unique, because it is a merger of Faculty of Design and Engineering (FDTP), Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), and Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI). There are 6 majors in FaST, Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Food Technology. Through this event, students could develop their interests and talents in sport and fair play.

This year, FaST Olympiad #2 was themed ?Strength in Unity?, that aimed high the unity and cooperation. With this theme, hopefully students of Faculty of Science and Technology could be more solid and more familiar with each other. The FaST Olympiad #2 began with the aerobic with students, lecturers and staffs on 18 May 2015.

Wednesday, 20 May ?Futsal Competition

Thursday, 21 May ? Female Basketball and Dodgeball Competition

Friday, 22 May ? Male Basketball Competition
