SMA Tunas Daud Bali Goes to UPH

11^th grade students of SMA Tunas Daud Bali is listening to the presentation of UPH Student Consultant team

40 students and teachers from SMA Tunas Daud Bali visited UPH in May 28, 2015. They visited 4 selected universities, including UPH for their Jakarta-Bandung Educational Trip. These students followed several information sessions from UPH Student Consultant team about the majors offered at UPH and explanations from the Head of Faculty.

On this occasion, the Director of Psychology and Philosophy Faculty, Adriani Gunawan, conveyed some information about majors in the faculty. ?By learning Psychology, we can learn about human, in which the difference of UPH Psychology Faculty is its Christian perspective. Most theories were generated from atheists who don?t believe in God, so we need a strong foundation to learn them, so they won?t turn out to be humanistic,? explained Adriani.

UPH Business School explaining about the offered majors

Afterwards, UPH Business School delivered a presentation about the details of concentrations at UPH. To encourage students in building a business and not only working in other?s company, UPH Business School brought along the Management Major lecturer, which is also the Head of Entrepreneurship Study Program, Jacob Tan. ?If you?re still hesitating about choosing a major at university, you can choose entrepreneurship because it is a practical thing in business,? Jacob said to the students. These grade 11 students were pretty enthusiastic during the presentation session.

This event was closed with a plaque handover from SMA Tunas Daud Bali, and students were also invited to go around UPH Karawaci campus, as a part of Campus Tour.(el/mv)
