Pelita Harapan University Business School was chosen as the winner of ‘Best School of Management Indonesia 2015’ Top 5 PTS Management B Accredited category. The award was given based on the results of a survey conducted by SWA magazine business groups namely MIX with Business Digest Magazine, during the months of May-June 2015. The award for the Business School UPH was handed by Kemal Effendi Gani, Chairman and Group Chief Editor SWA to Grace Salim, Director of the Business School UPH, the event that took place at the Annex Building, MH Thamrin, Jakarta, on December 16, 2015. The event was attended by renowned public and private education institutions with accreditation A and B that exist throughout Indonesia.
This ceremonial acted as an appreciation of the programs and educational services in the country as a measure of performance in the University of Indonesia. According to Kemal Effendi Gani, the event was held to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, along with the increasing demand of education. With the direct field surveys, the data obtained was not only public opinion, but it is a proven fact. The data obtained will also be highly beneficial to the consumer both from the students, as well as the industry players.
The survey was conducted to respondents consisting of students, parents, and the industry in several regions in Indonesia for three departments of management, business and economics, as well as visual communication design A and B accredited. The variables of measurement used is the reputation of the university, equality with other universities, the location, the existing facilities at the university, student achievement, recommendations, the image of the university, as well as the quality of education.
