Dated on the last 12th to 15th January, one of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) in UPH which is PHPC (Pelita Harapan Photography Club), opens a photography exhibition with the theme “Travel Log” located in Gallery of building B. Photography lovers can enjoy the work of the best photos of PHPC very inspiring. As for the members of PHPC, this exhibition aims to show their creativity. “This exhibition does not aim to show off in anyway, but to share the views of photographers through the pictures shown here,” clears Alvon, Leader of PHPC and one of the organizers of the exhibition “Travel Log”.
Total photos collected are 178, but only 50 photos are elected to display. The photos that are elected do not have specific criteria, but the photo must be taken to use techniques Fibonacci with the theme of travel or travel in accordance with the theme of the exhibition. “Fibonacci technique is the challenge here. We want each member to learn and explore the art of photography and this will make them look at a different angle.” Said Alvon.
PHPC is a photo club for UPH students who love photography. There is no specific requirement for members who wish to join. In this club every member has a strong sense of family. The method of learning is not formal but in the form of sharing knowledge and experience of the members who have mastered the field of photography. Time event or a meeting tailored to the needs of the organization. “If there is a question from one of the members, each member will share information about it.
