“This is our first experience at Career Expo UPH. Through this Career Expo, we are looking for fresh graduates for the Management Trainee, and Intern long-term program, and also candidates of UPH alumni who have at least 1-year experience. At Nestle Company there are UPH alumni who already joined as staffs. In my opinion, UPH students have a high self esteem and the high ability to adapt to a new environment. We hope a lot of candidates will pass in this Career Expo, or at least pass the pre-screening test, especially from the language requirement,? explained Sarah.

Besides Sarah, Ocktaria Recruitment Supervisor from JD.ID also has the expectation to get qualified talent from UPH.

“With the quality that we already know, then in the first experience we joined in this event along with the new program Management International we hope to get qualified candidates to join the Management Trainee (MT) program held by JD.ID in the field of Management International. We at JD.ID see that the UPH graduate is Out of The Box. Some of them have already joined us. They (UPH graduates) have a work speed that is able to adjust and have good analytical and creative thinking, so in the future, we want to build a good cooperation, “said Ocktaria.

Of course, with an event like this not only from the side of the company that helped but also from the final student?s side and alumni can get the benefits. Especially since they can meet the different types of companies and ask them directly.

Yohana, Food Technology 2014With this Career Expo I can see various types of companies, and see the possibilities in this Food Technology field what kind of the job opportunities they have. I also want to see other job opportunities outside of Food Technology that I can try. Today I also see quite a lot of companies coming and the company is interactive enough to provide various information. Where we do not need to go, from the company sometimes likes to approach us to explain career opportunities in their company. Sometimes there are situations that we do not to come to the company, but the company itself that come to us to explain the career opportunities in their companies

In addition, I see in UPH presents various types of companies and well-known companies, only still in the less number. But UPH has helped me a lot, both from building my personal aspect since students until conduct this event to meet the company that I can join?
