Universitas Pelita Harapan Law students who are in cooperated in students? activity unit DARE (Debate and Research Community) succeeded in achieving the first winner in the competition ?National Constitutional Drafting Padjajaran Law Fair VII? at Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung at 15th-17th of April 2016.

 

 

This year competition was followed by 13 universities. UPH faculty of Law team represented by Theresia Fransmanto (2014), Deborah Alexa Wijaya (2013), David Septian (2015),  Elke Wang (2014), and Cecilia Indrawan (2014). The Faculty of Law team was trained by Dwi Putra Nugraha, SH., MH., and  hasucceeded in passing the preliminary round and become the top five for the final round as well as four other universities, which are Universitas Parahyangan, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Hassanudin, and Universitas Brawijaya. In this round, UPH Faculty of Law team succeeded in achieving the 1st winner and Universitas Parahyangan in the 2nd place.

 

 

?National Constitutional Drafting Padjajaran Law Fair VIII? competition is an establishment of Undang-Undang Dasar NRI 1945? competition that was held by the Universitas Padjajaran Faculty of Law Executive Student Council. The theme for this year is ?Internationalization of Constitutional Law?.

 

The competition consisted of two stages, started with the preliminary round and continued with the final round. The judges consisted of the Universitas Padjajaran Faculty of Law lecturers and the Indonesian law experts.

 

This victory then increased the achievement that achieved by UPH Faculty of Law in 2016, with two other victories, which are the Regional Constitution Court Debate competition in Universitas Padjajaran, and the Constitution Debate competition in Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. According to Velliana Tanaya, S.H., M.H., the director of UPH Faculty of Law, the participants, and the lecturers were having the commitment in preparing this competition.

 

?I wish that this victory is not become the satisfactory final result but exactly become the booster for keep reaching the achievement. Keep being humble and keep being a blessing for others. Soli Deo Gloria? Said Velliana.
