The oath pledge inauguration begun with a Christian worship. In his sermon, Mr. Albert M Moore (UPH Chaplain) reminded all the graduates that as a nurse, they are not merely the helper and messenger of doctors. ?Nurses have bigger responsibilities in the healing process of the patient. Aside from that, the most important thing is that being a nurse is a higher calling that requires humility in serving a patient. Thus, a nurse has to pray all the time and they should live from the fear of the Lord, so that a nurse is able to give compassion which she/he had gotten from God to be shared with their patients,? Said Moore. (fon/mv)
