On Friday, March 6th 2015, Conservatory of Music (CoM) UPH has just experienced a life-changing moment in which for the first time they performed a gig on one of the biggest and most prestigious contemporary music festival in the world: Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2015 as the opening act. Beyond expectation of Dhany Yufisa Wibowo, S.Sn., M,Pd., a lecturer of CoM who acted as the Production Head of CoM UPH on Java Jazz, they let approximately 400 spectators in awe with their performance.

Boby Augusputra Limijaya, S.Sn., BMus., Music Director of CoM Jazz Orchestra, was truly thankful to God for all things could run smoothly and he was proud of his team performance. On the interview, Boby stated that he has a very resilient team. With a difficult music arrangement and such little time, they could showcase an international level performance, regardless of any drawbacks they had back then. ?That was a part of their learning processes,? said Boby.
