UPH Faculty of Psychology Won the 1st Place in Psy Champ Quiz Competition UNIKA

UPH Faculty of Psychology has just gained an achievement again in a Quiz Competition in the Psy Champ (Psychology Society Championship) event held by the UNIKA Atma Jaya Faculty of Psychology, on November 10 to 12, 2014. Psy Champ established two competitions; they were the quiz competition and the research proposal competition carrying the big theme of Mental Health and education, work environment, social interaction, and culture as the sub-themes.

UPH sent two teams for the Psy Champ Quiz Competition. UPH A Team consists of Meiliana (2012), Esterina (2012) and Mathea F. Gioli (2013). Meanwhile, UPH B Team consists of Esti Mariana (2012), Jacquline M. (2012) and Stefanny Valentia (2013).

The Quiz Competition was divided into 3 rounds for three days. The first and second round took place on the first day. On the second day, the whole participants of the Quiz Competition participated in a talk show on Schizophrenia presented by Mrs. Oryza Sativa, psychologist.

On the third day of Psy Champ, the top 5 team from the Quiz Competition were announced. Both teams from UPH managed to enter the top five and continue into the third round called Press The Button. From the third round, three teams would be elected to proceed to the final round called Analyze and Find It. The three teams that succeed were from Atma Jaya, UPH B and Binus. The last round was carried out by watching the movie Black Swan and continued with the presentation from each team.

After passing through a long process, the Quiz Competition was finally won by UPH B Team, and followed by Binus team as the 2nd winner and Atma Jaya as the 3rd winner. (ca/caca)
