UPH Festival 21 had happened since Wednesday (20/08) and had reached the last day of the event. The 2014 batch, had followed series of events that were interesting to prepare them on facing their campus life.

UPH Festival 21 had happened since Wednesday (20/08) and had reached the last day of the event. The 2014 batch, had followed series of events that were interesting to prepare them on facing their campus life. The founder of UPH and UPH leaders had participated on the event by motivating the new students in specific session.
On this session, James T. Riady, UPH Founder, had not yet able to come to the event, therefore he prepared a video message to emphasized the importance of finding a vision. ?A successful person is someone that has vision in his life. Vision is a condition where we can see ahead, deeper, and further comparing to the others. My father always implant this in myself. After graduated, I have an ambition to be successful just like my father,? said James.
However, the success that James achieved didn?t make him feel happy. Until he finally realized that life is beyond what he can see and measure, but also with his spiritual life.
Through God?s love and guidance, James turn back to the right way and born fully as a Christian. In his repentance a few years ago, he succeeded to find his vision of life to glorify God?s name through education aspects. Finally, he reached the decision with Johannes Oentoro to worked together to liven the vision through creating university based on Christianity, serving the country.

Jonathan L. Parapak, UPH Rector, had the opportunity to convey on how to find the precise vision. ?Beforehand, we need to prepare ourselves to face the transformation process. Then, know the talents that we had, and think on how to use the talents, what we want to achieve, more importantly bring this thought in prayer with God,? explained Jonathan.
Connie Rasilim, Vice Rector of Academic, added, ?In order to find the talents that we have, we can feel it while we?re doing something, and we feel excited about it. That?s the sign that we can recognize?.
Raymond Liu, UPH President, also added, ?Eventhough, material things are important in our life, but the most important things is the willingness of a person to achieve their dream based on God?s calling toward each individual. It took a lot of time to achieve a vision. Besides that, it can?t work if we only see it for our own benefits but, also through the needs of our environment.
