UPH Charity at Sekolah Daarul Jannah

As a form of UPH dedications to the education of Indonesia, welcoming Christmas season, UPH held charity event at Sekolah Daarul Jannah, Bencongan, Tangerang on December 14, 2011. This event also officially announced the development of TK Daarul Jannah.

UPH Rector Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. mentioned his acknowledgment  to the teachers and the Head of Daarul Jannah Foundation for educating the children voluntarily. ?They are the servants of the nations. Their passion to help children of the nations is extraordinary. They are the role models and the heroes in education,? said Parapak. In his speech, he also hoped that there would be many Daarul Jannah graduates who will serve for the nation.

Community leader Hajj Sanusi also hoped for development aid, not only for kindergarten, but also for middle high school that was lack of good facilities. Daarul Jannah was established in 2003 and since then, it has inaugurated five batches by 100 percent graduation rate. It was truly an outstanding achievement regardless the lack of learning facilities.

Head of Daarul Jannah Foundation Sudama also mentioned his gratitude for the aid given and hoped that the event could be a good start of a good relationship with UPH. ?I wished for other to help our successors to be knowledgeable and noble,? he stated. Though Sudama was only graduated from elementary school and has worked as ojek driver in Karawaci area, he had the passion to educate the children. With limited facilities, Sudama and teachers kept fighting to provide good education for the students. (dee)
