A number of UPH students from Communication department successfully created the largest newspaper in Indonesia. This 20-page newspaper contained news about UPH Communication department, Communication Avenue activites, and other informations related to the communication science itself. The 491 x 419 cm-sized newspaper obtained a record-breaking achievement from Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI). The record was given by MURI Operational Director, Yusuf Ngadri to the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Prof. Aleksius Jemadu, Ph.D. The accomplishment was witnessed by UPH students and staffs on Thursday, February 24, 2011. This giant newspaper was made for the event Communication Avenue held on February 21 ? 24, 2011. This annual event has been held by Communication Students Committee since 2007. Besides the giant newspaper, Communication Avenue also featured music concert, communication science seminar, and various competitions joined by many Communication students from various universities.
