UPH Festival 17: NCBL Final

Digital Video Mapping might be one of the most awaited closing events in UPH Festival 17, but who knew that this time NCBL TIP OFF Basketball Tournament presenting UPH Basketball Team, PERBANAS, BCI-Edge and Satria Muda Britama would turn out to be another most festive happening!

On Saturday, 14 August 2010 as the last day of UPH Festival 17, UPH Basketball Team had to compete against PERBANAS. The match which took place from 3-5 pm at UPH Basketball Court had brought so many spectators from outside UPH. They were high school students, UPH College?s students, as well as UPH students and alumni.

UPH and PERBANAS have often met in other basketball tournaments before. This time UPH excelled with a score of 81-71.

In the beginning PERBANAS was left behind far enough until the second round with a score of 26-41. As far as the fourth round, PERBANAS managed its effort and reached until only five balls left from UPH.

The second match was delayed for 30 minutes and finally continued at 7.30 pm because the audiences went to witness Digital Video Mapping at UPH soccer field.

BCI-Edge which came from United States was also invited by UPH to enliven the UPH Festival 17.

The first score taken by Satria Muda Britama versus BCI-Edge was 8-0. The match was so amusing that everyone was taken aback when BCI-Edge was filled with emotions the moment they had the first foul.

Immediately some of the audience brawled at the umpire who was considered to be on the side of Satria Muda Britama.

Satria Britama was overwhelmed when the opposite team gave a straight six of three-point shoots. The end result was the victory on BCI-Edge?s side with a score of 93-53. (oas)
