Lippo Village, (14/05) ?? Bank Mandiri visited UPH Karawaci for one day training that involved all administration staffs of UPH. This training helped the staffs understand that the most important factor that improves performance of an organization is excellent customer service.
Tangerang Area Manager PT. Bank Mandiri, Agus Haryoto Widodo, was the speaker of this training. He emphasized the importance of fulfilling the customers? needs with excellent services. ?We always hold on to the concept of service from the heart and giving the best,? he said.
Widodo pointed out important things needed to be applied in customer service, those are friendliness, speed, easiness to access, comprehensive information, service communication, and also tidiness.
He also asserted the important of giving the impression of affinity and knowledgeable that the customers feel understood. ?It is important that the customers know that we understood their problems. Remembering and saying their name is a good example of pleasuring the customers,? he said.
As the biggest Indonesia?s Trading Company, Bank Mandiri has always been a good example to many organizations in several areas. For three years in a row, Bank Mandiri won various awards such as Best Performing Bank, Best Room Facilities, Best Teller Services, and many more.
As an organization that is focused in the academic area, UPH also deal with the efforts of developing good relationships with customers. Director of UPH Business School?s Administration, Daniel Ong, stated ?We need to learn how to perform the best service to our students. This training gives us a lot of inspirations, especially to the front liners who deal directly with our customers,? he said.
Furthermore, UPH and Bank Mandiri will keep on cooperating in organizing such trainings for the staffs in each organizations. Widodo asserted Bank Mandiri?s willingness to accept similar trainings from UPH as well. ?We can build relationships with UPH. We will gladly accept UPH?s training in our company,? he said.
Widodo also stated that to create best services, everything has to begin with each person?s performance. He stated that the staffs? commitment to the organizations in which they work stand as the beginning of the success of the organization in? fulfilling customers? needs.
