Earth Week is a four-day long event packed with various activities, such as a soap making workshop and movie discussions, with the sole purpose of spreading the message of loving the environment and inspiring students to take action against two of the worst problems faced by Indonesia today – Global Warming and plastic pollution. Besides workshops and movie discussions, Earth Week also consists of an Art Installation made of 100% recycled materials and a social campaign.
Earth Week aims not to only increase the awareness of everyone’s mind about the environmental problems of today, but to also encourage students to not be passive in dealing with the issues of Global Warming and plastic pollution. With a greener mindset, we hope that both students and staff members will take action to reverse the ever-worsening problems.
